November Wrap Up & December Plans | Incredible ARCs, but less Reading than I Anticipated + Some of my Plans for the last Month of 2021! ☀️

☀️ Hello, bookish friends! I hope you’re having a day full of blessings and the best reads! ❤️ Today, as always at this time of the month, I bring you one of my favorite posts to share with you: my monthly Wrap Up & TBR! where, of course, I share with you my past readings and future plans, as we catch up a bit.😊✨ November has been a crazy month in terms of my personal life, I’ve had ups and downs, and although you know that this isn’t a place where I usually share the negatives of my life, I feel I should mention that one of those situations has been that my parents split up (in fact, I mean my stepdad and my mom, but it’s the same thing for me), so even though I already have a life outside my parents’ house, this has affected the family structure, and clearly has had me very distracted from all my reading and the blogosphere in general. I’ve spent most of my time accompanying my younger siblings and being a support for them, so that’s where my focus has been and probably will be for at least the duration of this year. I also have a new job and that has been taking quite a bit out of me, so overall, I haven’t done very well with my reading. Still, I always like to convey how important it’s to take care of yourself and take your time, so I’ll preach what I say and be super supportive of myself. I’ve read what I can and that’s enough. 🙌🏻 Now, things are slowly taking shape and everything will come back together in time, so I know that even though my life is all over the place right now it will all be for the better. I want to thank you so much for how understanding you always are and also thank you for all the beautiful comments you take the time to write on each post, it means so much to me, every interaction with you makes my days. 🥺 🥺 🥺

Of course, I’ll still be sharing what I’ve read, because even though I’ve only read three books they have all been great, so that makes me very happy. 😍 I have a series of books that even though it’s still in the process of being created, I must recommend to you because so far it’s one of those hidden gems, another one of those readings is a mystery ARC by a super popular author that never disappoints & lastly, I also have an unexpected read, that clearly wasn’t in my plans but I’m happy to have given it a chance because I found what I was looking for, something light, romantic and very inspiring. 💞

 😅

Friends, one more clarification before we begin. This month I’ll not be doing a TBR for December for obvious reasons, I really don’t want to put pressure on myself to read, so I’ll just be reading what I feel like at the moment and then we can do some reading updates during December to catch up on what I’ve been doing. Sorry, I know it’s not the usual, I really love watching TBRs, so I understand if it’s a bit disappointing, but I still hope to come across some amazing books to enjoy. If you want a little hint of what I might be reading, I invite you to check out my last month’s TBR, as there I included several books that are still my priority. 🥰
I hope you’re ready and comfortable for today’s post 🍿,
enjoy it very much and as always, don’t hesitate to share your thoughts in the comments! Now, without further ado, let’s GET STARTED! ☀️

Both books this time are ARCs, so first I want to take a second to thank the publishers and authors very much for sending me these copies in exchange for honest reviews. 😊 I’m more than happy because not only it’s a pleasure for me to talk a little about not-so-well-known books, but I’ve also adored BOTH! So, I really hope you decide to add them to your TBR to give them a chance sometime soon. Both are dark fantasy books, with unique worlds & supremely interesting characters, plus they both also have big plot twists and the writers are very addictive! 😍

Later in the month, I’ll be making my post of favorite books of the year and my least favorites, so this has nothing to do with that and I will not be repeating books. What this post represents, on the one hand, are those readings of which I didn’t expect anything and ended up being incredible and on the other hand, those of which I did expect a lot and ended up falling short. I hope you understand what I’m trying to do here 😅, I’m very excited to talk to you about these books because even though some of them disappointed me, I feel that they aren’t bad books at all and I feel that you could enjoy them yourself. 👏🏻

Favorite New-To-Me Authors || 2019 💻

⭐️ Hi guys! I hope you’re having the best day & especially that you’re enjoying your current reading.❤️ Today I return with my December post series where I wrap up a little my year in posts and talk with you about it, this time it’s the turn to talk about those new to me authors who have been favorites this year, this means that this time I highlight those authors that I read for the first time in 2019 and whose works I’ve loved or enjoyed a lot for reasons that I’ll specify later. 🥰  Each of these authors is incredible and I’ve chosen them precisely because each of them stands out in a particular aspect that I’ve enjoyed a lot in my reading experience, such as the writing style, of course, or the talent to create atmosphere, tell stories and/or create characters.

I’m super excited, I know that some of these authors are very well known to you and very well-loved but it’s my first time trying with them this year, so for me, it’s all very new and I’m ready to read more of their works in the following year! Some of them, on the other hand, personally think they don’t have the recognition they deserve, so I think it’s the perfect occasion to recommend their work! 👏🏻
I hope you enjoy the post a lot, and hopefully find a new author you want to try in 2020.. so, Let’s Start.⭐️Read More »

❄️ Hi guys!! I hope you’re having the best day & you’re enjoying your reading 💞  Today I bring you our beloved Wrap Up of the month of July where I’ll talk about all the books I’ve read during the month. July really flew for me, I feel it happened SO fast, don’t you think? God, the year, in general, is flying by. So how was my month? SO GOOD, actually, I feel very HAPPY for how I’ve done it this month with both, my readings and my interaction with you, which is always a priority for me, and everything that has to do with blogging life has been very positive as well.😊 I’ve been very committed to learning more about blogging stuff because I think there’s always something else to learn and improve and I have many surprises to share with you in the next month, and I’m super excited about it, I still don’t want to tell anything, though. I really feel more and more committed to my blog, more excited to do new things and I really feel that it has become a very important part of my life so that makes me feel enthusiastic and complete. 👏🏻

💞 I want to THANK YOU as every month for being there for me, always supporting me and giving me encouragement to continue and improve every day. It’s already like a habit for me to thank you each month, but, it’s very important for me that you know this, so I wouldn’t want to not to say so. 💞

I’ve participated in The Book Junkie Trials Read-A-Thon, 🌟  which I adored, I remember that I planned to take July as a chill month, without reading anything other than what I wanted and well when I saw that this read-a-thon was so original and unique, I knew I couldn’t miss it!. 😍  It was a lot of fun, I couldn’t complete it, though, I just missed the group book, so I’m a bit sad about that, but on the other hand, I found an INCREDIBLE book thanks to this read-a-thon, so I’m more than happy to have participated. Besides seeing what everyone was reading and sharing that experience was so AMAZING.

So going back to my readings… OMG, it has been a great month!!, you’ll see more in my statistics below, but it has been a month where I feel that I’ve read things that I really wanted to read, so despite not having enjoyed all of them, I’m happy to have tried. I have a couple of disappointments between my readings but the majority of the books were all SO PRECIOUS. Super different concepts, a lot of fantasy, because who would I be, right? 😅, and I tried a genre that has always intimidated me a little. Without further ado, I’m dying to start sharing with you all about the books I’ve read, and I also have some post recommendations around the blogosphere that you won’t want to miss! 💫

Let’s get started!❄️

❄️ Hi guys!! I hope you’re having the best day and every time you see your beautiful face in the mirror you love yourself as much as I love you. 💞  Today I bring you our beloved Wrap Up of the month of June where I’ll talk about all the books I’ve read during the month.
This was a great month, I feel like I started it with a lot of energy and finished it with a lot of energy, you know, so I’m really enjoying the moment. Winter has come where I live, which means I’m almost frozen myself writing this post, I swear I can’t feel my fingers, damn circulation.😂 But on the other hand, I adore cold weather, I feel that put me on a better mood, I have more desire to do things, I love the combination of my coffee, my blanket, and my book when returning home from work, it’s those little moments when you know you’re completely happy, you know? I LOVE it.⛄️
I‘ve been feeling much more connected with you this month, I feel that despite having been a little messy with my post schedule, I had a month full of interactions with wonderful people within the community, I have seen many new faces in my comments what It makes me SO HAPPY 😭 ❤️, so in that aspect, it has been a great month. I’ve participated in a read-a-thon, and I’ve spent such a great time with it, I’ve pushed myself out my comfort zone with my readings, what I recommend you do from time to time, it’s such a fun experience!.

Well I think I’ve started talking too much, I always think that I’ll not have anything to say, I don’t know if I’m the only one, but sometimes I think “Oh, what I’m going to write about on my wrap up?, I’m so uninteresting” lol, but here I’m talking of anything less than what brings us here, so without more further ado, I want to tell you EVERYTHING about the book I read. 😊
I‘ve had a great reading month, you’ll see in my statistics below, but in summary, I feel happy to be able to say that I’ve read more than normal, it’s not much for you I guess, I know that compared to many of you I read quite a bit, but the important thing is that I enjoyed most, I had a sad disappointment, but for the rest I can say that I enjoyed everything I’ve read, I had a couple of very pleasant surprises and, as I mentioned before, I’ve also been able to get myself out of my comfort zone, which I hope to continue doing because it has led me to enjoy other types of genres, and expand my literary tastes a little more. I wanted to focus more on my ARCs because in July I want to be more relaxed about, and I think I did a great job so I’m pleased with that. 👏🏻
I’m dying to tell you more about my readings of the month, so let’s START!❄️Read More »
