Favorite Books of 2020 πŸŒΏ

πŸŒΏ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day full of good readings.❀️ Here I am again, my loves, I’ve been super absent in the last week because I’ve got a new job that requires 100% of my time and honestly I haven’t been able to find a moment to dedicate to the blog, or even to read, because when I get home at night I just want to sleep, you know? Anyway, I’m grateful to get back to work and I hope everything goes well with that for me *fingers crossed* πŸ₯Ί but I still wanted to come back today to share a new post with you, this time it’s MY FAVORITE POST OF THE YEAR! And it’s because I share my favorite books I’ve read over the past year and we can chat a bit about them. I don’t know how many posts I’ll be capable of uploading from now on, but I promise to do my best to at least bring you one quality post per week, but I’ll see that over time. I want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH at the bottom of my heart for the support and love that I still receive from you, even when I’m not being active within the community as I used to be, that means a lot to me, I promise that every time I have free time I’ll use it to check other blogs and support you as I’ve always tried to because even though my life is a bit crazy now my feelings haven’t changed, I love this community and I love blogging as much as reading, so I’ll continue to do so. πŸ˜ πŸ˜ πŸ˜

So today’s post, as I already mentioned, is the post where I share with you my top with my favorite books of the year, but unlike most of my tops this time the order is important because I’ll be ordering them from my least favorite to my most favorite book of the year, with this I hope to make the post more fun and it’s also like a little challenge for me that I find fun. πŸ‘πŸ» Even so, and with that said, it doesn’t mean that I don’t love each of these books so much, from the lowest position to the highest is being part of my list of faves, so obviously I’ve loved all of them. I hope you can add many books from this list to your own TBR and read them to love them as much as I have, I’m so excited to share this list with you! πŸ˜Š

I hope that each of you had a beautiful Christmas and have an even better New Year, surrounded by your loved ones and if you can’t, cause “pandemic” then I send you all my pure love just for you, I’m sure 2021 will be full of blessings for all of us.  πŸ₯° Now, without further ado, I’m SO excited to be writing this post and sharing all these wonderful books with you, so let’s get started!! Get comfortable and find yourself something tasty to drink, this will be good! πŸŒΏ

Least Favorite Books of 2020 πŸŒΏ

🌿 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day, full of good readings & wonderful moments.❀️ Super excited to finally bring you a new end of the year post, this time it will be all about those books that I liked the least this year. Of course, it’s always good to clarify that this is only my personal opinion about them and it doesn’t mean that they’re bad books or I hate them, they just haven’t worked for me. 😊 There are a couple that I’ve abandoned and others that simply haven’t resonated with me for centers reason. I know that lately there has been some controversy with this type of posts on Twitter, especially, and I rarely get involved because I don’t like conflict, but I’ll say what I said on the networks, and it’s that sometimes I feel that when we book bloggers or creators of content, talk negatively about some book so everyone talk about it, but when we work hard on our content and publicizing all those books we love throughout the year nobody recognizes our work, so you know what? You can and have all the freedom to talk about those books that haven’t been for you because it’s valid as well and as long as it’s done with respect, it’s fine. Β πŸ‘πŸ»Β πŸ‘πŸ»Β πŸ‘πŸ»Β
Luckily this year it has been difficult for me to choose “bad” books to share with you because I really read things that I really liked, some that I’ve loved and others that have been good, so it was a challenge to find these five books which I’ll talk to you next.
My plan is to share with you these books, from the one I liked the most to the one I liked the least. I’ve also decided to include some books that I’ve DNFed this year for the simple reason that they’ve not been for me and because, to be honest, I had no more “bad” books to talk about and that’s great, of course.Β πŸ₯°Β
I’ll do this post as I try to do all my posts, with a lot of respect and love above all, but I’ll also be 100% honest about my opinions, always remembering that it’s not the absolute truth about these books, but rather a personal experience. Now without further ado, let’s start, I hope you enjoy it & also share your opinions with me. 🌿

Double ARC Review | A Curse of Ash and Embers & A Curse of Roses

🌿 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having the most wonderful day by the hand of the most incredible readings.❀️ Today I’m more than happy to bring you a double review of two great books that I’ve read this month, and that I also have the pleasure to say have been ARCs, so THANK YOU SO MUCH to Edelweiss+ & NetGalley for the opportunity to read them. Before starting I want to say THANK YOU my loves for all the support that you have been giving me in my posts, little by little I’m catching up, so I promise you that if you’ve commented on my blog at some point, I will be checking your blog soon and anyway I’m determined to visit as many book bloggers as I can, so don’t worry, I’ll end up visiting you, because you deserve the love, and you’re wonderful. I also want to remind you that I’m working on a project where I’m making a list here on my blog with as many book bloggers as I can, so if you want to participate then write to me in THIS POST or wherever place you want, and I will add you. 😍
Now, going back to today’s post, I have two very magical books to share with you, I’ve enjoyed both very much and although I don’t think they’re perfect, I believe that the failures are really superficial and don’t overshadow these great stories about curses and folklore. On the one hand, we have
A Curse of Ash and Embers (Tales of the Blackbone Witches # 1) by Jo Spurrier, a highly atmospheric book made to devour quickly, it’s a super interesting story with great female power behind & on the other hand, we have A Curse of Roses by Diana Pinguicha which is a story that also revolves around a curse where our main character turns everything she eats into flowers and although it sounds almost poetic, it has been a nightmare for her, so she’ll undertake a journey to find a solution, highly based in Portuguese myths and I’ve loved that.
I hope you enjoy the post and decide to add these books to your TBR! Now, without further ado, let’s get started.

Favorite 2020 New-to-Me Authors πŸ–‹

πŸ–‹ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having an incredible day full of good readings and beautiful moments! ❀️ Today I bring you a post where we will chat a little about new authors that I’ve met this year and have loved. Sometimes I think that it’s also super important to give the author who is behind such wonderful works the place he/she deserves, so I’m very excited to tell you a little about these six incredible writers. πŸ˜
I think this year has been super positive for me in terms of finding new authors that I’ve loved and I’m dying to try again, and I think it’s incredible because last year I had good new authors for me too, but this time in addition to it, many of these books will be among my favorites of the year too because WOW, I just can’t pick other authors this time. πŸ₯Ί In general, I don’t like being repetitive in these types of posts, I mean I don’t like talking about a book and then bringing you another end of the year post with the same book, you know? but this time I can’t help it because I really LOVE the style of each of these authors and although it may be a bit of a spoiler for my top favorites of the year, I’ve decided to include them anyway and give them the recognition they deserve as writers.  πŸ‘πŸ»
 πŸ‘πŸ» πŸ‘πŸ»
So this 2020 I’ve chosen authors that for me have stood out a lot for different reasons, but all have made me feel SO many emotions while reading their books, so that’s why I’m dying to give them a second chance in 2021! πŸ”₯ Below each of them, I’ll specify why I was captivated by their writing style and thus be able to provide you with a post with much detail. πŸ˜Š
I hope you enjoy the post and that you can find new authors to enjoy too & without further ado let’s get started, my love!

2020 Surprises & Disappointments βš‘️

⚑️ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings and wonderful moments! ❀️ Today I’m more than excited to share with you this second post in the series of “end of the year posts” and this time I bring you my Surprises & my Disappointments of this 2020.Β πŸ™ŒπŸ» On the one hand, we have those books from which I didn’t expect so much and they ended up surprising me by how much I enjoyed them and on the other hand, those which I had high expectations from, but ended up disappointing me.
As always, I want to clarify that these opinions are only my own and don’t mean that we all have the same experiences with these books and that’s fine 😊 & on the other hand I also want to clarify that
the group of books that today I want to share with you that were surprising for me, are books that really captivated me but they didn’t reach my top of the year as favorites, so this is also a good opportunity to give them their moment of recognition, appreciate them and tell you a little about them. 😍
I also want to tell you that those books that are in the group of
my disappointments this year aren’t bad books at all, in fact, I’ve enjoyed them, it just that I get into them with high expectations or I expected much more from them and they just didn’t live up to and that’s why they’re in my disappointments. Which doesn’t mean they aren’t great reads anyway. 🌟
In short, I want this to be a fun post to share and exchange opinions, always knowing that we are all unique and different and that’s wonderful.Β πŸ’ž
So you know that I hope to know everything you think in the comments about these books!

I don’t have a specific number to choose my covers, I’ll only be showing you those that have captivated me and have become an obsession for me to look at & also, this is a personal opinion so I understand that you think that I’ve left some out or that someones I’ve chosen aren’t that impressive, but

πŸŒŸ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day full of good readings & incredible moments.❀️ Today I’m back on the blog after taking a week off and I’m really excited and VERY HAPPY to share my plans with you and tell you a bit about some changes that will take place in my life. πŸ˜Š You know that I usually take a week each year away from the blog and social networks, I call it “my detox week” and that always helps me to take care of myself, my mental health, and I also take the opportunity to be closer to my loved ones and take care of some mundane things that aren’t as fun as being here with you but important still πŸ˜…
I’ve never taken a week in December, so it’s new, for me the month starts today, so it will be shorter here on the blog, but anyway super excited to be back full of energy and super ready to check all your blogs and answer all your beautiful comments 😍, what I’ll be doing starting today, although I know it will take me a couple of days, so be patient with me the important thing is that here I am! πŸŽ‰

just say want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH, because I know you’ve been supporting me even when I’m not here and that makes my heart and my soul happy, you’re a wonderful being and super precious to meπŸ₯Ί πŸ₯Ί πŸ₯Ί  Happy to be back, mis amores & GET STARTED!

December TBR | Catching Up: Finishing Some Series & Exciting 2020 ARCs β˜€οΈ

β˜€οΈΒ Hi, my beautiful bookish friends! I hope you’re having the most incredible day with the best readings.❀️ Today I bring you a new Monthly TBR, where I’m sharing with you my reading plans for the month of December. I still don’t know how, but we have reached the last month of the year!! Isn’t that crazy? surely 2020 will be one of those years that we’ll never forget and not for the best reasons, but luckily it has passed super fast for me, I’m excited for the new year to come and I hope it’s full of blessings and good news to the world, I think we all deserve that.Β πŸ™πŸ»
So here I am today to share with you my reading list for this last month of the year. When you’re reading this I’ll be on my break, so I don’t know how much I’ll be reading during this first week but that’s fine, this month will be a month of relaxation for me, so it’s okay if I don’t read too much, on the other hand, I’m SO excited to be able to share with you ALL the end of the year posts!! 😍
When I return from my break I’ll be sharing with you my best readings, my worst, and all those types of posts that I love to do every year.

My plan for this month is also to do a lot of blog hopping, I think I should give you back a little of all the support that you have given me, I feel super blessed to be part of this community, so I’ll try to support you all as much as I can, super excited for checking all your posts!! 🌟

GIF by America's Next Top Model

So my reading plans are basically to finish catching up on some things, so in this way go into 2021 with a new vibe and eager to start new readings. First, I’ll be finishing some series, that’s really exciting for me, at last, I’ll be reading the final books of several series that I’m loving so far, and I’m dying to share that with you πŸ₯°Β & on the other hand, I still have a couple of ARCs that I want to read because they’re the last ARCs that I have left from this year’s releases and I would like to get into next year without any ARCs from 2020, you know? both books come out on December 1st, so I won’t get to read them for their release date but obviously, I’ll be reading and reviewing them during their release month, so I hope that’s enough, anyway super excited to tell you more about them! 😊
Then, if I’m lucky enough to finish with my priorities,
I’ll be adding my Back-Up Pile with two books that I would like to be able to read before the year ends, it’s fine if I can’t, though, there’s no pressure, but it’s something that I also want to share with you today.Β πŸ‘πŸ»Β

So, super excited to share my December readings with you, I hope you have the best end of the year and above all that you and your family are safe and healthy.❀️ Now without further ado, I hope you decide to stay & let’s get started! β˜€οΈΒ
