2 Years Blogiversary!: so GRATEFUL💕

Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de SPRINGTIME (1)

Guys, can you believe that this time of year has just come again?! I can’t believe it, I knew that my anniversary would be here soon, but I received the notification and honestly tooks me by surprise.

2018-11-14 (3)

I’m so pleased to be part of this community, it’s, honestly, one of the best things that have ever happened to me. And to think that 2 years ago since I created this small space to talk about books, is simply crazy. To be honest with all of you, I didn’t think it would last so long, I had tried before to do something like this, and I had always felt discouraged and I had given up because things didn’t happen as I expected, and I really didn’t think that someone would read something that I would write, like never. But this time it was different, and I guess it’s because I’m a different person, I’ve always had a great lack of confidence with myself and in part, this blog, everything that I’ve achieved and learned with it, has made me grow a lot and I’ve discovered that I’m capable of doing something nice and something that others want to read, there’s something so deep and beautiful about it 😍
So here I am, 2 years after starting, super excited to continue this journey and I can’t be happier, nor feel more blessed by all that I’ve lived in here. I’m super emotional right now, but well, I guess I knew what would happen once I started to write, for those who still don’t know, I’m a sensitive soul and my hufflepuff heart can’t handle all my emotions 😅

🌟 I hadn’t thought about anything specific for this post, I really feel like put out there what comes out from my heart, I want to thank all of you and just open my emotions. I’m honestly so grateful to all of you guys, I started this blog with very little knowledge in the language, you already know my mother language is Spanish, so creating a blog entirely in English terrified me, but at the same time it was my dream, so I decided to just do it, even though I’ve received hundreds of criticisms, because my writing was awful or because I wasn’t writing in my own language, I didn’t care and I continue doing it and I’m so proud of myself because I’ve learned so much and despite maybe you don’t see it, I feel that I’ve grown a lot since I started, and it makes me feel very proud of myself, it was worth it, and in the end, all those criticisms have helped me to improve. I’ve also had so much support and words of love from many beautiful people I’ve met in the community, I’m so happy and it still moves every day, to see many of you grow as well, I’ve been able to have fluent conversations with some of you and I’ve also been happy every day of my life to be part of something as beautiful and enriching as this community and the people that make it up, which are all of you. I feel that we connect in such beautiful ways, I feel that many of us don’t feel included in our daily life or we are simply shy or we don’t find someone to share our love for reading and other things, and being part of something makes you feel incredible and we all make up a kind of very beautiful modern family. I really feel part of something wonderful and I’ll always be honored by it 💕🌟

44,727 people have seen my blog during these 2 years and I’m not sure if that’s a lot for you, but for me it’s just incredible. The blog already has 2,287 wonderful people who have decided to click on the button to follow and support me with this project which makes me so happy. I’ve never been that kind of person who cares about numbers, in fact, recently I’ve started to be more active in my social networks, I guess I’m a bit old-fashioned, but I needed to highlight these numbers because they’ve blown my mind, I can’t believe all the support and it just makes me feel loved and valued. Sometimes it’s difficult because I don’t know how to express all the love I feel but I want you to understand that I’m eternally grateful for every like, every follower and especially for every comment, because those comments means the world for me 😭 💛

❤️ I’m planning to do something in the next few weeks, I’ve been thinking a lot and I feel that the best way to celebrate these 2 years is to highlight each week a group of incredible book bloggers that I love, respect and admire. Because in what other way could I thank you more than highlighting your wonderful work and sharing it with everyone, right?. I hope that with this series of post that I’m setting up you can meet and support other bloggers and maybe you’re one of them, because I’ll try to highlight as many as possible, with this I hope to express the love and gratitude that I have with the community and maybe, you can meet your next favorite book blogger.
I really hope you like this idea and support it and share it everywhere, so we’ll continue with train of love and support❤️

I would like to finish this by thanking again because it seems that I can’t thank enough in a single post lol. I also want to tell you that please don’t feel discouraged if things don’t go as you expected, this is especially for my beloved international bloggers, I know that we have close doors everywhere, but we keep strong and I’m proud of you.
For all in general, keep fighting for what you want, and above all, don’t let anyone tell you that what you are doing is wrong or that you’ll never succeed, please, you need to know that all your content is very valuable and I know all the effort you put into it, so you should feel proud of yourself. I LOVE YOU GUYS, HONESTLY. And you know you can contact me at any time if you ever need it 💕

  1. Aw, happy bloggiversary! 😀 🎉❤️
I think that’s great that you decided to blog in English when it’s not your first language; I think that’s very brave! 😀 I know I couldn’t blog in another language!
I like the idea you have about showcasing other bloggers! That sounds like a lovely idea!
