A beautiful and distinguished family.
A private island.
A brilliant, damaged girl; a passionate, political boy.
A group of four friends—the Liars—whose friendship turns destructive.
A revolution. An accident. A secret.
Lies upon lies.
True love.
The truth.

We Were Liars is a modern, sophisticated suspense novel from National Book Award finalist and Printz Award honoree E. Lockhart.
Read it.
And if anyone asks you how it ends, just LIE.

Short Review

I have tears in my eyes yet …

5 / 5 Stars

I started the book with many expectations but in the middle I’m was disappointing a litlle bit, I thought it was very cold and meaningless, were these conversations where characters seemed distracted as if they had forgotten  that they were talking and then came the incredible last pages where simply WOW, I don’t see that coming at all, the end broke my heart and I just couldn’t stop cry like a baby …. in the end I could link everything and give meaning to the story….really was worth it ♥100 % FEELINGS!

description

This is the kind of book that people seem to love or hate, nothing in the middle of that, I was worried at first, when I started reading it I thought it would be a disappointment but it was incredible and I wouldn’t stop recommending it, reading my review today I can feel everything this book did to me.
So I recommend them a lot, although for many it was predictable, I would advise that if you feel like giving it a chance, just do it, it would be great to have your own opinion, because I’m sure for many it will be a great surprise 🙂

Have you read it or did you ear about it?
