Hi, my beautiful literary family! I hope you’re all feeling amazing today, and most of all I hope you’re having a wonderful end to the year! β€οΈ
Before I start, I have to say that it’s always been one of my favourite things to see all the content you upload at this time of year, all your blogs look amazing, lots of favourite posts, lots of releases, I LOVE IT! Β ππ» you make my TBR continue to grow out of control, but I forgive you, we’re book lovers, we can’t help it, can we? Β π
This is a super exciting post because it’s my last TBR of the month, which is funny because it’s also my first TBR since I started blogging againΒ π. But hey, I think I picked a good time because seeing all of you reading to reach your literary reading goals makes me more than excited and eager to read! that’s a very good thing. Β πΒ πΒ π
As I’ve told you before, since I’ve just returned to not only blogging but also reading, I don’t want to overwhelm myself with goals I know I can’t achieve; everything in this new phase for me is about enjoying without stressing myself out, So here I am being honest with myself and with you, bringing you a bunch of books I’m very interested in reading this year, but true to what I just said, if not, they’re also books I’m dying to read in general, so they’d be great reads for the beginning of next year, right?Β πβ¨
To give you a little preview of what you’ll see here, I’ve chosen a fairly eclectic list, as the title suggests. I’ve set myself a challenge, I’ve got an exciting but perhaps predictable sequel, and I’ve got a book that’s been on my TBR for a while that’s probably a 5-star prediction.Β π₯
I’m always super excited to see what you read, and if you’ve read any of the following books, please let me know in the comments! It’s always fun to share our thoughts! So without further ado, let’s get started!Β π»

Moving through something that only resembles normal life, Miri comes to realize that the life that they had before might be gone. Though Leah is still there, Miri can feel the woman she loves slipping from her grasp.
Our Wives Under The SeaΒ is the debut novel from Julia Armfield, the critically acclaimed author ofΒ Salt Slow. Itβs a story of falling in love, loss, grief, and what life there is in the deep deep sea.

A House with Good Bones by T. Kingfisher
A haunting Southern Gothic from an award-winning master of suspense,Β A House With Good BonesΒ explores the dark, twisted roots lurking just beneath the veneer of a perfect home and family.
“Mom seems off.”
Her brother’s words echo in Sam Montgomery’s ear as she turns onto the quiet North Carolina street where their mother lives alone.
She brushes the thought away as she climbs the front steps. Sam’s excited for this rare extended visit, and looking forward to nights with just the two of them, drinking boxed wine, watching murder mystery shows, and guessing who the killer is long before the characters figure it out.
But stepping inside, she quickly realizes home isnβt what it used to be. Gone is the warm, cluttered charm her mom is known for; now the walls are painted a sterile white. Her mom jumps at the smallest noises and looks over her shoulder even when sheβs the only person in the room. And when Sam steps out back to clear her head, she finds a jar of teeth hidden beneath the magazine-worthy rose bushes, and vultures are circling the garden from above.
To find out whatβs got her mom so frightened in her own home, Sam will go digging for the truth. But some secrets are better left buried.

Thornhedge by T. Kingfisher
ThornhedgeΒ is the tale of a kind-hearted, toad-shaped heroine, a gentle knight, and a mission gone completely sideways.
There’s a princess trapped in a tower. This isn’t her story.
Meet Toadling. On the day of her birth, she was stolen from her family by the fairies, but she grew up safe and loved in the warm waters of faerieland. Once an adult though, the fae ask a favor of Toadling: return to the human world and offer a blessing of protection to a newborn child. Simple, right?
But nothing with fairies is ever simple.
Centuries later, a knight approaches a towering wall of brambles, where the thorns are as thick as your arm and as sharp as swords. He’s heard there’s a curse here that needs breaking, but it’s a curse Toadling will do anything to upholdβ¦

Crown of Midnight (Throne of Glass #2) by Sarah J. Maas
“A line that should never be crossed is about to be breached.
It puts this entire castle in jeopardyβand the life of your friend.”
From the throne of glass rules a king with a fist of iron and a soul as black as pitch. Assassin Celaena Sardothien won a brutal contest to become his Champion. Yet Celaena is far from loyal to the crown. She hides her secret vigilantly; she knows that the man she serves is bent on evil.
Keeping up the deadly charade becomes increasingly difficult when Celaena realizes she is not the only one seeking justice. As she tries to untangle the mysteries buried deep within the glass castle, her closest relationships suffer. It seems no one is above questioning her allegiancesβnot the Crown Prince Dorian; not Chaol, the Captain of the Guard; not even her best friend, Nehemia, a foreign princess with a rebel heart.
Then one terrible night, the secrets they have all been keeping lead to an unspeakable tragedy. As Celaena’s world shatters, she will be forced to give up the very thing most precious to her and decide once and for all where her true loyalties lie… and whom she is ultimately willing to fight for.
