May 2022 Book Releases 🔥

🔥 Hi, guys! How are you today? I hope very very well, having a wonderful day, full of good reading.❤️ Today I’m super happy to bring you this monthly post that I love to do so much, and that’s my “monthly book releases”, this time obviously we will be focusing on March! As I always say, “Good news for the heart, but bad for the pocket” right? and it was never so true, especially because this 2022 is full of amazing releases that we won’t want to miss. 😍 I always like to take a second to explain to you how these monthly lists work… so, In these posts, I usually add the books that catch my attention personally or that I feel I might enjoy reading, so not all the releases will be in here, but those that resonate with me, and I hope that maybe they’ll also resonate with you, to add them to your TBR and read them someday as well! That’s always my main goal: to make your TBR grow more 😄!

I hope you enjoy the post a lot, that you like the titles I have for you this month, and of course share with me the book releases of this month that excite you the most. 👏🏻 Now without further ado, thanks for being there, and LET’S GET STARTED! 🔥

April TBR | Trying to Catch Up on My Reading! : Arcs, Big Books, Continuing Series & New Releases. 🍂

🍂 Hi, friends, how are you? I hope you’re doing great, safe, and surrounded by the best people & readings! ❤️ Today I’m super excited because it will be my first TBR since I’m back, so somehow everything feels almost new. 🙌🏻 Autumn is starting here where I live and that makes me so happy! my favorite season, no doubt, can you believe that next year I’ll be experiencing my birthday in winter for the first time in my life? CRAZY!. 😍 As you know, this is the post where we discuss and share all about my plans for the new month in terms of reading & where I’m also uncontrollable when it comes to creating lists lol, hopefully, I’ll try to be more reasonable about the latter this year, and I’ll be giving myself a TBR that I actually feel like I can complete. 😅

This time, guys, you’ll notice that I’m not doing a Wrap-Up, which was originally going to go before this post, this is because I haven’t read almost anything this past month 🥺, it has been a month of getting back in tune with everything I had to do, I’ve been catching up with you, I’ve been trying to organize some things in my life as well, I’ve been visiting family that lives far away, and I’ve also been in town shopping for my trip and obviously planning all that, as well. So never mind, it’s ok, I read a 500-page book which is a super positive thing, that book was The Kiss of Deception (The Remnant Chronicles, #1) by Mary E. Pearson, in case you want to check out my thoughts it’s the first book I have reviewed with my new review structure, so I’m very excited about that fact. 💞
Obviously, I’m not here to beat myself up, I probably could have done better, but that’s okay, I’m getting back into this whole blogging thing, so I respect my time.☕️
The really good news, guys, is that after getting more involved in the community after my break, I feel more motivated to catch up with my reading, so I’m crossing my fingers that April will be a successful month! 🤞🏻

So, what will I be reading this April? 🤔 Well, my idea, as the title says, is to catch up, I have several ARCs that I’m extremely grateful to have received, and I want to get to read them, at least in their month of release even if I don’t reach the specific date, I still want to try it. Also, on the other hand, I have a new release from one of my favorite authors, which I’ll be buddy reading, I’ll be starting a duology in preparation for the second book, & I also plan to continue a series I’ve recently started (I think this one is easy to figure out).⚡️⚡️⚡️
So with this little teaser, I think it’s the perfect time to get straight to what we are here for, I already want to share with you all the books I plan to read and also hear about your plans as well! Let’s support each other, we can do this! 🥰 So, without further ado, LET’S GET STARTED! 🍂

5-Star Book Predictions Update 🌟

🌟 Hi, hermosos amigos! I hope you’re having a wonderful day surrounded by the best readings! ❤️ Today, I decided to bring you an update or something like a wrap-up of my 5-star book predictions, not only of the lists I’ve made for this year, but we’ll also review those predictions from last year to see how I’ve done. 😊 I was going through some old posts these days, thinking about what post to do and I realized that I had never brought you a complete update as such of all the 5-star prediction lists I’ve done over the years, and you know I LOVE doing those types of posts, as I think they’re a lot of fun, so I thought it was time to have all those books organized in one post to also review if I’ve been right about some of these readings with my predictions. 🤔
I think it will be fun to chat a little bit about each of these books, honestly, I was surprised to see that I’ve read most of them already, almost without realizing it, but I love it because this is a great opportunity to bring you this post 💫, share a little bit with you and obviously chat about how right I was about each book and which ones I’ve ended up being disappointed with.
I’d also love it if you could share your 5-star predictions with me, and I’d love to know how you’ve been doing with that! 👏🏻

Obviously, I plan to create another one of these lists with new books soon, as I love doing it, it’s a great challenge that without even knowing it keeps you pretty motivated to read, so not only I’ll continue to do it, but I highly recommend it if you haven’t tried it yet. 🥰 It’s an interesting way to see how much you really know about yourself, what things you like to read or which ones are really for you and which ones aren’t.
Personally, I think it’s a lot of fun, so… I hope this will be a relaxed post, just to review a few of my past readings and have a post solely dedicated to my 5-star predictions. I hope you like it a lot, that you decide to share all your opinions with me and without further ado, LET’S GET STARTED!
 🌟

‼️ PS: Any rating of 4.5-star will be taken as a win for me and as a completed goal, since by my standards a 4.5-star rating is too close to perfection, I’m just a bit picky sometimes. I’ll still take them as 5-star in this post.

💞 All the links you need will be below, so you can check out my full reviews or add the book to your bookshelves.

☀️ Hi, guys, I hope you’re having a beautiful day, full of good readings & incredible moments!! ❤️ SO happy to have a moment to be able to share with you everything that I’ve been reading in the month of January plus, everything that I plan and will try to read during this month of February. 😍 I feel really blessed to have you there on the other side, you know that I’m very grateful for your love and support always always always, so thank you SO much for being there in each post. 💞 Today, as I said, I’ll be sharing my past and future readings with you!! You know that this year has started differently for me, I don’t have much time on my hands like before because not only I’m working on my current job, but I’m also spending a lot of time dedicated to a very special project that I’m creating together with my boyfriend, of which I hope to share more with you in future posts. Even so, and with all this happening in my day to day, I had to admit that I feel more than happy to be able to have moments like this one, where I can dedicate a few hours to my blog, and somehow this has made it feel more special for me, now I value more this place and the time that I dedicate to it is very treasured for me. 🥺✨ I’ve been trying to catch up with your posts, so I hope you’re feeling the love, soon I’ll be bringing some surprises to further support this community that I love so much.
The conclusion and the message I want to give for this month is:
CONTINUE DOING WHAT YOU LOVE NO MATTER WHAT!! 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻

You Can Do It Cat GIF by Chibird

As for my readings, I’ve read a little more than December during the month of January, which doesn’t mean that I’ve read a lot really, but I’ve done a better job, and I celebrate that! 🙌🏻 I’m very excited because I’ve been trying more the audiobook format and it’s working wonderfully in those moments when I cannot read physically & also I’ve finished a trilogy that will remain forever in my heart. Plus, I’ve read a couple of ARCs that I’m very interested in talking to you about. In terms of reading quality, I think it has been a pretty average month, although I did enjoy a couple of these books, most of them have been something “meh” but well talk more about it later. 😊

So, what do I plan to read during the month of February? Well, this month is special because it’s my birthday month, I’m turning 27 on the 22nd, so as a gift for myself I decided that I’ll be prioritizing my 5-star predictions, this means that I’m determined to find a 5-star book this month 🤩, and for that, I’ll be checking some lists I’ve made through time, of books that I think I’ll love, but I’ll also add some new releases from this year or last year that I think I’ll totally love to make it more fun. To be more honest with myself, I don’t expect to read each one of the books that I’ll put in my TBR, but they’ll be what I prioritize reading during the month, you know?. 😄 I hope this makes sense to you, and most of all, I hope you feel as excited as I am by all the fantastic books that I’ll include in the list. 😍

I LOVE you, you’re incredible for just being here ❤️  & Without further ado, I hope you decide to stay with me during this post full of incredible books, so prepare coffee or a tea, and make yourself comfortable … because we start right now!! ☀️

☁️ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having an incredible day full of good readings and beautiful moments!❤️ Thank you, thank you, thank you for always being there for me, you’re just wonderful. 🥺 Today I come with a double review of two ARCs that I was really excited about, but while I enjoy one of them not so much the other one, so we’ll have a lot to talk about today. As always, I’m extremely grateful to the publishers and ARCs programs such as NetGalley & Edelweiss+ for giving me the possibility of reading these books and being able to share my thoughts freely. 🥰
One of these books is a new book in a series that I love with my heart, which is always surrounded by magic, a unique writing style, and diverse characters & on the other hand we have a new author for me, in what I think it’s her debut book, a solid promise but kind of poor execution, we’ll talk more about it. 🙌🏻

SO thankful to you for being here every week to help me make the most impossible decisions, you’re INCREDIBLE. 🥰  And of course super grateful to DestinyHowling Libraries | 💫, the creator of this wonderful idea, because thanks to her my TBR looks more decent and I’ve been able to establish my priorities. 👏🏻

May Wrap Up | Unexpected Readings, A Popular Trilogy & Great Sequels 🍂

🍂 Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings.❤️ Today I bring you a new post… my May Wrap Up! where I’ll tell you ALL about my readings of the month. May was a pretty good month in terms of reading, something crazy and messy, yes, but pretty good, but on the other hand not so good in mental terms, you know? I think that finally, the quarantine has come to me, I’m a super conscious person about everything that’s happening in the world, but I’ve never felt fear or anxiety about it, I try to be in a more relaxed state of mind and most of the time, has worked well, but this May I got a little out of control, I must confess. 😢 I’m always the first to tell you to prioritize your mental health over anything else, so obviously, I did that, and I found much comfort and support in YOU, even when you may not even know this, I LOVE and it brings me a lot of peace and positive energy to read your comments and interact with all of you in general, this is a community that always brings me good things, so THANK YOU, for being there for me to support me, love me and accept me. Blogging was wonderful, the best medicine is to do what you love, without a doubt. ❤️

On the other hand, even though I’ve struggled a bit mentally, incredibly and contrary it has been one of the most creative months for me. I feel that maybe this is my point of view, but I’m very happy with the content of my blog this month, I’m 100% satisfied with it and I’m very happy to see the response that you’ve had to each post, it has been wonderful, really It brings me a lot of satisfaction and makes me SO SO happy.  👏🏻 I hope to keep this pace of creation and ideas for June too, just in case I always write everything that comes to my mind, so I hope I already have a reserve of ideas for emergency lol. As always THANKS for your support for my blog and, especially this month, thanks to so many of you for sharing your experiences with your blogs in my discussion post, it really means a lot to me that you can open up and express your thoughts and feelings with me and with all of us.  😍  I’m sure that each comment in that post could be a word of encouragement for someone else and that makes me very happy! 💃🏻

Schitts Creek Love GIF by CBC

In terms of readings, being honest with you I expected to read much more, but you know, sometimes you don’t feel like reading and I accepted this, and I didn’t mean to force it, but I did expect to do a better job. Even so, it wasn’t a bad month at all and I really enjoyed everything that I read, in fact, there’s no a single book that I didn’t like this month, so that’s even more important than quantity (quality over quantity, always!)  👍🏻
I read a super famous and super loved trilogy and I’m very excited to share my thoughts with you, but basically was a very incredible read and I enjoyed it very much. On the other hand, I read a couple of sequels or series continuations, and they were great too, lots of action in them and wonderful characters & last but not least, I had the joy of reading an ARC of a book that’s probably among my favorites this year… It was wonderful, it touched my heart and although I hadn’t planned to read it, it was worth it.  😊
I hope you decide to stay with me during this post and get to know each of my readings, statistics, and some of my favorite posts. 🥰 I hope you enjoy it and without further ado, let’s get started! 🍂Read More »
