Top 10 | 5-Stars Worthy Magical & Paranormal Books 🌙

🌙 Hi, bookish friends! How are you today? I hope you’re having a wonderful day, and are enjoying the best reads.❤️ Today I’m super excited and happy to bring you the third part of this top 10 series I’ve been doing for a few months now, and I’m more than happy to continue this series, ending for now with what will be my top 10 books of magical realism, magical touches in general and some paranormal tones as well, books that, of course, I think are 5 stars worthy. 👏🏻👏🏻 If you’re interested in knowing a bit about the other previous posts, I’ll leave them right here so you can take a look at them: on one side we have, 5-Stars Worthy Contemporary Books & on the other side, 5-Stars Worthy High-Fantasy Books.
You may have already noticed that it wasn’t easy for me to give a specific title to this top because it makes more sense in my head than when I explain it for some reason 😅, but I hope it makes sense to you. What I wanted to do, in general, is to put in this top all those books that despite having fantasy touches none of them fit in the category of high-fantasy, and on the other hand, I also have books here that are contemporary but with strong touches of magic-realism, magic in general or that have some darker and paranormal aspect or out of the ordinary, you know? 🌟 I know it sounds complicated, but I swear it will make sense once you see them all together, as
I think they fit perfectly into this rare but magical category, which I must also confess that has some of my favorite books, so I’m super excited to share the list with you. 😊

Of course, I hope you can find new books to add to your TBR, and maybe read at some point, also you know I LOVE to know what you think, so feel free to tell me all about it in the comments and we can chat a bit. 🥰 Thank you SO much for supporting this series as well as every blog post, it means a lot to me, and now YES! get ready for lots of charming titles, get comfy, find your favorite drink & let’s get started! 🌙

💕 This post may contain too many beautiful covers, I recommend discretion.

Favorite Books of 2020 🌿

🌿 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day full of good readings.❤️ Here I am again, my loves, I’ve been super absent in the last week because I’ve got a new job that requires 100% of my time and honestly I haven’t been able to find a moment to dedicate to the blog, or even to read, because when I get home at night I just want to sleep, you know? Anyway, I’m grateful to get back to work and I hope everything goes well with that for me *fingers crossed* 🥺 but I still wanted to come back today to share a new post with you, this time it’s MY FAVORITE POST OF THE YEAR! And it’s because I share my favorite books I’ve read over the past year and we can chat a bit about them. I don’t know how many posts I’ll be capable of uploading from now on, but I promise to do my best to at least bring you one quality post per week, but I’ll see that over time. I want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH at the bottom of my heart for the support and love that I still receive from you, even when I’m not being active within the community as I used to be, that means a lot to me, I promise that every time I have free time I’ll use it to check other blogs and support you as I’ve always tried to because even though my life is a bit crazy now my feelings haven’t changed, I love this community and I love blogging as much as reading, so I’ll continue to do so. 😍 😍 😍

I Love You Hug GIF by RainToMe

So today’s post, as I already mentioned, is the post where I share with you my top with my favorite books of the year, but unlike most of my tops this time the order is important because I’ll be ordering them from my least favorite to my most favorite book of the year, with this I hope to make the post more fun and it’s also like a little challenge for me that I find fun. 👏🏻 Even so, and with that said, it doesn’t mean that I don’t love each of these books so much, from the lowest position to the highest is being part of my list of faves, so obviously I’ve loved all of them. I hope you can add many books from this list to your own TBR and read them to love them as much as I have, I’m so excited to share this list with you! 😊

I hope that each of you had a beautiful Christmas and have an even better New Year, surrounded by your loved ones and if you can’t, cause “pandemic” then I send you all my pure love just for you, I’m sure 2021 will be full of blessings for all of us.  🥰 Now, without further ado, I’m SO excited to be writing this post and sharing all these wonderful books with you, so let’s get started!! Get comfortable and find yourself something tasty to drink, this will be good! 🌿

Favorite 2020 New-to-Me Authors 🖋

🖋 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having an incredible day full of good readings and beautiful moments! ❤️ Today I bring you a post where we will chat a little about new authors that I’ve met this year and have loved. Sometimes I think that it’s also super important to give the author who is behind such wonderful works the place he/she deserves, so I’m very excited to tell you a little about these six incredible writers. 😍
I think this year has been super positive for me in terms of finding new authors that I’ve loved and I’m dying to try again, and I think it’s incredible because last year I had good new authors for me too, but this time in addition to it, many of these books will be among my favorites of the year too because WOW, I just can’t pick other authors this time. 🥺 In general, I don’t like being repetitive in these types of posts, I mean I don’t like talking about a book and then bringing you another end of the year post with the same book, you know? but this time I can’t help it because I really LOVE the style of each of these authors and although it may be a bit of a spoiler for my top favorites of the year, I’ve decided to include them anyway and give them the recognition they deserve as writers.  👏🏻
 👏🏻 👏🏻
So this 2020 I’ve chosen authors that for me have stood out a lot for different reasons, but all have made me feel SO many emotions while reading their books, so that’s why I’m dying to give them a second chance in 2021! 🔥 Below each of them, I’ll specify why I was captivated by their writing style and thus be able to provide you with a post with much detail. 😊
I hope you enjoy the post and that you can find new authors to enjoy too & without further ado let’s get started, my love!

🎍 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having an incredible day and a very nice week, especially enjoying all your reading.❤️ Today I’m super excited because believe it or not, that moment of the year has come again where we’re going to summarize a little how my year of reading is going so far with this tag that called: The Mid-Year Freak Out Book Tag 😍. I can’t believe that the year is happening so fast, but somehow I’m glad because it’s one of the most intense years for humanity, so I hope that next year will be better and we’ll be more peaceful, calm and healthy. 🤞🏻 I confess that it’s not being my best year in terms of reading, but I think it makes sense because it’s due a lot to the times we’re living, and especially to stress and things, so I’m not bothered by what I’ve read, and I know I still have many months ahead of me to find incredible books. I hope that your year is going in the best way possible and above all, that you’re finding great readings to escape a little of all thing happening, but don’t be so hard on yourself if you haven’t been able to read as much as you want, these are difficult times, so it’s ok to dedicate more time to yourself and to do other things. 😊 I hope you enjoy the tag, my love, I’m super excited to share with you many of my readings from this 2020, I always have a lot of fun doing this tag, and it will also be interesting to see a summary of my year answering each question.  🏳️‍🌈 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having the most wonderful day and for all the members of the LBGT+ community, HAPPY month, my loves, be proud of yourself always: love is love! ❤️ Today I’m very excited to bring you this compilation of many books featuring LGBT+ characters and also many of them own voices, which is super important, all this to celebrate this pride month as every year. Also, I want to share with you, because you’re my family too: last month my brother has decided to come out to me and we have shared a really unique moment, he represents himself as bisexual, and although he’s still not sure because he’s only 16 years old and he’s still discovering about how he feels and how he represents himself, I’m 100% a proud big sister, he’s my younger brother and I couldn’t admire his strength and courage more at every step he takes in his life. It makes me want to cry, I’m just SO excited and happy for him 😭 😭 😭, so I just wanted to share this experience with you, and also speak directly to all the families and beings in the world who come here, and transmit the love and support that you should always have with the beings that you love and the respect and admiration that you must feel for their choices. May Wrap Up | Unexpected Readings, A Popular Trilogy & Great Sequels 🍂

🍂 Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings.❤️ Today I bring you a new post… my May Wrap Up! where I’ll tell you ALL about my readings of the month. May was a pretty good month in terms of reading, something crazy and messy, yes, but pretty good, but on the other hand not so good in mental terms, you know? I think that finally, the quarantine has come to me, I’m a super conscious person about everything that’s happening in the world, but I’ve never felt fear or anxiety about it, I try to be in a more relaxed state of mind and most of the time, has worked well, but this May I got a little out of control, I must confess. 😢 I’m always the first to tell you to prioritize your mental health over anything else, so obviously, I did that, and I found much comfort and support in YOU, even when you may not even know this, I LOVE and it brings me a lot of peace and positive energy to read your comments and interact with all of you in general, this is a community that always brings me good things, so THANK YOU, for being there for me to support me, love me and accept me. Blogging was wonderful, the best medicine is to do what you love, without a doubt. ❤️

On the other hand, even though I’ve struggled a bit mentally, incredibly and contrary it has been one of the most creative months for me. I feel that maybe this is my point of view, but I’m very happy with the content of my blog this month, I’m 100% satisfied with it and I’m very happy to see the response that you’ve had to each post, it has been wonderful, really It brings me a lot of satisfaction and makes me SO SO happy.  👏🏻 I hope to keep this pace of creation and ideas for June too, just in case I always write everything that comes to my mind, so I hope I already have a reserve of ideas for emergency lol. As always THANKS for your support for my blog and, especially this month, thanks to so many of you for sharing your experiences with your blogs in my discussion post, it really means a lot to me that you can open up and express your thoughts and feelings with me and with all of us.  😍  I’m sure that each comment in that post could be a word of encouragement for someone else and that makes me very happy! 💃🏻

Schitts Creek Love GIF by CBC

In terms of readings, being honest with you I expected to read much more, but you know, sometimes you don’t feel like reading and I accepted this, and I didn’t mean to force it, but I did expect to do a better job. Even so, it wasn’t a bad month at all and I really enjoyed everything that I read, in fact, there’s no a single book that I didn’t like this month, so that’s even more important than quantity (quality over quantity, always!)  👍🏻
I read a super famous and super loved trilogy and I’m very excited to share my thoughts with you, but basically was a very incredible read and I enjoyed it very much. On the other hand, I read a couple of sequels or series continuations, and they were great too, lots of action in them and wonderful characters & last but not least, I had the joy of reading an ARC of a book that’s probably among my favorites this year… It was wonderful, it touched my heart and although I hadn’t planned to read it, it was worth it.  😊
I hope you decide to stay with me during this post and get to know each of my readings, statistics, and some of my favorite posts. 🥰 I hope you enjoy it and without further ado, let’s get started! 🍂Read More »
